Description.
Creamy-white kaolin ware covered with a bluish-white glaze, slightly crackled, fired as 'qinbai', and irregularly dotted with scattered brown, ferruginous flecks or specks. The base is unglazed. The shape has a gourd-shaped profile with a delicately moulded, finely detailed handle in the form of a chilong dragon. On the opposite side there is a slightly arched mouthpiece. It may have had a lid. In very good condition considering its age.
