A Guanyao porcelain flower-shaped cup, Song dynasty

Delicate shape supported on a small circular stem from which sixteen petals emerge, ending with an open rim. Each petal is marked by a rib on the inside and is smooth on the outside, although it has a lobed profile. It is very delicately molded and covered with a celadon-green crackled 'Guanyao' glaze in deep black and brown tones.
