Catalogue Notes:
Pipes collection of European origin comprehended mostly for amber, silver, gold and metal. Amber is a gem in a fossilized state with a remarkable coloration and character. During the 19th century it was widely used for the manufacture of pipes. This material cannot be handled in an industrial way like acrylic materials, therefore, the manufacture is handmade. This conditions is an incentive for collectors.
