Description.
Snuff bottle made of milky white enameled glass in Cantonese style. The center shows a cartouche of dragons, on each side, with scenes of birds with branch and fruit. They are similar, but one shows a bird with peaches and another two with pomegranates. The rest is decorated with intertwined spirals on a yellow background. On the neck it has a band of cartouches and another blue one with scrolls.
In Chinese popular culture it is said "when magpies chirp, happy events will come", therefore, the scenes announce a good omen. In addition, the two together mean "double happiness" that will come together.
On the base it has a mark "乾隆年制" (Qiánlóng nián zhì), enameled in blue.
