Description.
A carved bamboo armrest piece (臂搁) with an inscription on the front depicting a poem. It is signed on the right side with an inscription stating:
"嘉庆庚申暮春完白邓石如书"
"In the late spring of the Gengshen year of Jiaqing in the book of Deng Shiru". Deng Shiru (1743-1805) was a seal carver and calligrapher of the Qing dynasty
In very good condition with patina.
