Bamboo plaque, Qing dynasty.

Carved from bamboo and decorated at the top with ruyi clouds. It has carved characters on the obverse, reverse and side to indicate the use for which this identification is made to serve. Obverse text "鸿胪寺 / 序班" (Preface of Honglu Temple); reverse text "朝恭官悬带此牌无/牌者依律论罪借/者与借与者罪同 /出京不用"; side text "文字柒百叁拾陆号".
