Description.
Body and lid in biscuit porcelain. It is carved in bas relief with great detail depicting a dragon coiled around the body which is surrounded by clouds and flames. The bottle has a pumpkin shape with a round profile base and domed lid. On the foot it has a carved seal of four characters 陳國治作 (Chen Guo Zhi). Chen Guozhi was a porcelain artist who worked in Jingdezhen between 1820 and 1860 in the Daoguang period (1821-1850).
