Description.
Modelled porcelain, with a flared foot and bulging, pear-shaped belly, above which is a slender cylindrical neck ending in a flared mouth. It is decorated with blue and red underglaze enamels, which form the central image of a ferocious three-clawed dragon with a long, scaly body and a menacing gaze, with large eyes and sharp fangs. Both the foot and the mouth are decorated with borders of geometric and lace motifs. The piece stands on a gilded bronze plinth.
