Blue and red glazed porcelain ware, Qing dynasty

The porcelain is modelled and decorated with red, cobalt-blue and white underglaze glaze. It has a circular base, with a cylindrical body hollowed out in the centre with a quadrangular cavity. It may be a doorknob or the head of a walking-stick. It is decorated with a border of spirals and winding branches, filled with leaves, framing beautiful lotuses in bloom.
