Description.
Ceramic modelled in the form of a tripod censer, with three sturdy feet, on which is placed the pronounced, globular-shaped body, followed by a narrow neck on which sits a wide cylindrical mouth. Two elongated handles stand out, resting on the curved, S-shaped shoulders, supported by two straight supports. It has a thick, glossy glaze that covers the blue enamels with which the surface has been decorated. While the mouth and handles show a succession of fretwork and geometric patterns, the rest of the body is adorned with scrolls of fine flowering branches covered with delicate curved leaves. The mouth has a six-character seal ‘大清乾隆年制’. Restorations are visible on the left handle.
