Description.

Modelled porcelain in the form of a vase, with a circular base and rounded body, topped by a short, narrow neck. It is decorated with underglaze blue and white enamels depicting a scene of a ferocious three-clawed dragon with a sinuous, scaly body flying over a sea of flames and ruyi clouds, among which are masks of imposing monsters, framed by two borders of lotus scrolls and fine petal-shaped cartouches, arranged on the neck and base. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大清光绪年制’. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
