Description.
A ‘Zun’ porcelain vase, with a circular base and an elongated body that widens at the rounded shoulders and ends in a large conical mouth. Decorated with blue and white underglaze enamels, it shows two large five-clawed dragons flying amidst a sea of flames and clouds. The two mythological beasts face each other with their gaze fixed on a great flaming pearl, their bodies covered with scales that curl upwards in line with the shape of the vase itself.
It displays a six-character mark on the base ‘大清康熙年制’.
