Blue and white ‘Hu’ porcelain vase, with Qianlong seal

Blue and white enamelled porcelain vase. It stands on a short, slightly flared circular foot, with a rounded body on which two handles with fixed rings are arranged in relief, and which ends in an elongated neck and turned-up mouth. It is decorated with horizontal stripes, the two central ones showing large flowering branches surrounded by sinuous branches covered with small leaves. On both the base and the mouth, a landscape of a raging sea covered with large waves is repeated, while the neck is adorned with long banana leaves.
On the base is a six-character seal ‘大清乾隆年制’ in underglaze blue.
