Description.
Blue and white glazed and enamelled porcelain ‘Gu’ vase. The body is tubular and elongated, with a slightly wider foot and mouth, widening in the centre with a rounded body.
It is decorated with three scenes, one on the neck, depicting figures in a beautiful garden, dressed in armour and traditional costume, and a large ox. The second, in the narrow central body, framed by two bands of geometric motifs, shows bouquets of flowers. The third, portrayed in reverse, depicts a beautiful landscape with long flowering branches, rocks and fluttering butterflies. With hair on the base. Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912) or later.
