Description.
A porcelain vase on a conical foot. It has a rounded, pear-shaped body that narrows at the neck and expands at the mouth, with the rim slightly turned outwards.
Against a beautiful white background, it shows a continuous scene in underglaze blue, in which an imposing dragon with four claws, a fierce gaze, open jaws and a serpentine body is following a flaming pearl across the sky. Below it is a landscape of craggy rocks and a traditional Chinese pagoda set beside a sea of raging waves from which large Koi carp emerge.
At the base of the pagoda is a traditional blue double circle.
Height: 25.7 cm; Mouth diameter: 11 cm; Base diameter: 8.5 cm
