Description.
A blue carved and blown glass in the form of a cup or goblet with a handle. The foot is broad with a stem that joins the elongated body covered with reliefs and a circular handle with a pointed end. The reliefs depict mythological creatures between borders. It may have had a ceremonial use related to wine. There are examples in jade with a similar shape.
Provenance: Important collection of Tommy Lam, Hong Kong, since 1980.
