Description.
Rectangular tortoiseshell inkwell in Boulle marquetry decorated with scrolls of foliage and lambrequins of gem-set metal leaf. It has a gilt-bronze handle in the centre and four gilt-bronze legs. It has a nib holder on the back. In good condition, with slight wear due to age.
