Bronze figure "Guanyin", Song dynasty

Goddess of Mercy in a seated position on a large throne, with a smiling expression and hands clasped in her lap. In front of her are two small servants facing each other, holding various items in their hands. Her face is serene, her head is adorned with a crown in the shape of a bird of paradise and flanked by large locks of hair that fall over both shoulders, and her body is dressed in an elaborate tunic made up of several layers with large and elaborate sleeves that cover her hands. Many details such as the belt made of large pearls and the details on the sleeves and chest. Song dynasty (960–1279).
