Description.
Perfectly crafted bronze censer with patina. It depicts an auspicious and traditional "狮纹" lion pattern, extending back to the Tang Dynasty. The lion is considered the king of beasts, a symbol of power and majesty. In Buddhism, sculptures depicting lions are widely worshipped. The patina of the piece shows its age, also the expression of the faces and the movement is very realistic.
