"Buddha" of polychrome Shoushan stone, Qing dynasty.

Stone "Shoushan" (寿山石) carved and polychrome. Seated Buddha figure holding a scroll in the left hand and a staff in the right. The face is serene with closed eyes, shaved hair and beard, and ears with elongated lobes. He is dressed in a tunic with engraved details depicting clouds, spirals and flowers. In good condition with wear on the paint and fine cracks.
