"Bureau Secrétaire" in walnut veneered wood, 18th century

Carved and veneered walnut wood with three drawer registers and a hinged desk top, located at the top with drawers and drawers inside. The drawers have a lock, as does the top, and two gilt bronze handles. The front is cambered and is forward to hold the cover when open. The sides and the top are trimmed in profile and the "cabriole" legs have a scroll finish. The side corners of the drawers are rounded to soften the shape. In very good condition with wear due to age.
