With seal on the base of four Qianlong characters 乾隆年制, executed in blue and inscribed in a double square. 

Enameled bronze box with scenes of European theme depicted alongside flowers, scrolls and landscape scenes with cherry blossoms and rocks.

The decoration is done in enamel and in great detail, especially in the European-themed motifs that were favored by the Qianlong emperor, which were not only produced in Beijing but by enamelers working in Guangzhou (Canton). This type of work became popular among the court.
