Cantonese porcelain dish with wooden frame, 20th century

Porcelain plates with polychrome enamelled decoration and gilt details. It has a central medallion with a large lotus branch in blossom on which a small bird rests. The rim is also decorated with a succession of scenes framed by rows of ruyis, depicting palace figures interspersed with trees and birds on large bouquets of flowers.
