Description.
A greenish-hued jade pendant in the form of a free-standing animal. The bear is standing on two legs, tail curled forward, upper limbs on the hips, chest puffed out, mouth half open and head turned to the right. The beard meets its shoulder to tie some kind of cord. In the Han period bears were present in the mountains and forests, so it was common to see them depicted on grave goods.
