Description.
White jade with flecks of brown and reddish tones, carved in the form of a disc with a central hole. The lower part is decorated in relief with a '谷纹' grain pattern. On the upper part are five small tapirs carved in free-standing form and executed in great detail. They are standing upright on their four legs as if they were climbing up the jade. They show wear and patina due to age. Combatant Kingdoms period ( 403 - 222 BC) or later.
