Description.
Yellow-green jade pendant carved in the shape of a bird. The animal is lying down, with its head facing forward and its wings folded. The spiral motifs, positioned to represent the wing feathers, stand out. Between the legs, there is a hole through the figure to hold some kind of cord. In very good condition, with patina.
Provenance: Important collection of Tommy Lam, Hong Kong, since 1980.
