Description.
A jade figure carved in the shape of a mountain and a cave with a 'bodhisattva' inside, next to a tree. The reverse is also carved with craggy silhouettes of rocks. The details of the carving are well represented. With wooden base. In good condition with patina due to age.
Provenance: European private collection, France. Acquired by the present owner in 1981 in Toulouse from the private collection of Mr. Gerard Pasquier. A photograph of the period is shown.
