Description.
Jade carved in a single light-coloured piece. It shows a large ox, with a friendly gaze and serene expression, standing on its four legs, with its tail raised on its hindquarters and its head crowned by two large horns. A small squatting girl with her hair in two ponytails and traditional clothes is mounted on top of it, holding onto the animal as if she were a rider about to set off. The meticulousness of the details gives a realistic aspect to the composition and shows the quality of the piece.
