Description.
A beautifully carved jade of a soft, greenish hue, with reddish flecks and traces of gold leaf. It shows the image of a seated ‘Luohan’, with bent knees on which a small dragon rests, with a scaly coiled body and open jaws, its tail extending around its body. The man, dressed in a long robe, has a wrathful expression, with a shaven head, narrowed eyes, long ears and a curved mouth, curved in an angry notch. It is placed on a carved wooden base.
