Description.
Carved white jade, in the form of two beautiful and elegant mandarin ducks that are joined at the level of the mouth, so that they turn their long necks to look at each other. They are shown serene, with their wings folded over their bodies and their beaks closed, holding elongated branches in their beaks, all executed in fine relief. Age wear is visible. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
