Description.
An oval-shaped white jade plaque, decorated on both sides with engraved and carved elements. In the centre is an openwork representation of a dragon surrounded by a frame with a 'ruyi' handle at the top. The engraved details show lattice cartouches and bows. In good condition with signs of wear or patina. Western Han Dynasty (206 BC–8 AD).
