Description.
A carved jade pendant consisting of a central bead and a ring, both with a spiral grooved surface, called as "扭繩紋" (Niu shéng wén) or twisted rope pattern. The jade is light in colour, yellow in hue, and shows patina due to age. It is mounted on a pendant ('later') that holds other jade beads.
