Description.
Greenish jade with reddish-gold flecks carved in rectangular form with incised and openwork decorations. The thin outer frame is decorated with small incised scrolls. In the centre, scrolled dragons are arranged in rows of openwork; the ones at the top are larger and the ones at the bottom are smaller. The penultimate row depicts two figures in traditional costume, with their eyes open and their hands joined at the level of their abdomens. The detail and realism of the figures is remarkable. With patina produced by the passage of time. 20th Century.
