Description.
Carved jade seal, of light tone with reddish and amber spots. It has a square base on which is placed the figure of a dragon, with an elongated and coiled body covered with scales, bent legs and an open gaze. Both the perimeter of the base, as a border, and the body of the beast, are covered by a network of curved lines made by incision, which demonstrate the meticulousness of the work of the piece. The base shows an incised seal with four characters. Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) or later.
