Description.
Green jade carved with subtle reddish-ochre flecks. It depicts a crouching tiger, following archaic models, with bent legs, a curled tail, large eyes and scroll details covering the body. There is a small hole in the mouth. It shows signs of age-related wear. Western Zhou Dynasty (11th - 771 BC) or later.
