Carved white jade "bi" plaque, Han dynasty

Carved white jade, in the shape of a "bi" pendant with carved openwork motifs and decorative elements of spirals, engraved on both sides. The shape is flat and circular, formed by two rings joined by three points and a central circle. The "bi" discs are a ceremonial form originating from the Neolithic period. In very good condition with patina and traces of red pigment.
