Carved white jade figurine ‘Scene’, Qing dynasty

Carved jade, pristine white and smooth in texture. It depicts a large, craggy mountain, on which multiple figures in traditional dress are arranged in what appears to be a tranquil garden, with flowering trees, long bamboo canes and a building in the centre. It is set on a carved wooden base, with fretwork details, made to measure.
