Description.
White jade with reddish and amber flecks. It has a tall rectangular base with slightly rounded edges, on which sits an archaic dragon with a robust body and engraved scroll detail. The head is turned towards the back, and shows a serene face with rounded eyes, a ruyi-shaped snout and closed jaws. Below the base is a three-character relief seal ‘九思堂’. It shows age patina. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
