Description.
Ceramic modelled in the form of a vessel, with a thick flat base surrounded by a wide scalloped rim with rounded edges that widens slightly towards the mouth. It is decorated with a rich, greenish-blue celadon glaze, on which is a beautiful network of crackles produced by the firing process. Ming dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
