Description.
A teapot decorated in relief, carved in celadon-green jade in great detail, depicting a character scene on one side and a mountainous landscape on the other, both set in a frame. The vessel is rectangular, slightly curved at the sides, and stands on one foot. The lid is pyramid-shaped with a stepped handle and is supported by a mouth with a fretwork relief. The back has a handle in the shape of a dragon and at the other end a pointed spout with archaic-style reliefs on the sides depicting a phoenix.
