Celadon porcelain ‘Hu’ vase, with Tongzi mark

Porcelain modelled in the form of an archaic ‘Hu’ vase, with a short rectangular foot and a flattened body with a curved and rounded profile at the belly, tapering towards an elongated neck flanked by two cylindrical handles. It is covered with a thick celadon glaze of a light greenish-bluish hue. On the base is a six-character mark in underglaze blue ‘大清同治年制’.
