Description.

Glazed ceramic vessel with a wide mouth on a circular base and a wide bowl-shaped body with slightly rounded sides. The glaze is celadon blue, slightly cracked, and is lighter at the ends. At each end there is a lug with relief details.

This form is made since ancient times in bronze or jade and had decorative bands in relief, and even have a lid. Above the belly has two lines reminiscent of this decorative band but without the decoration. The "Gui" ceramic pieces appeared in the Shang dynasty and remained in use in later times as a funerary or ritual utensil along with the "Ding". 

The piece is in perfect condition with no breaks or restorations.
