Description.
Ceramic modelled in the form of a sinuous meiping vase, with a narrow circular base, curved profile, broad shoulders and a neck surrounded by subtle ribbing. It is decorated in sgraffito with a band of elongated banana-leaf leaves in the lower area, followed by a large central scene of large curved branches with pointed leaves, all covered with a beautiful light-blue celadon glaze. Hutian Kiln, Song dynasty (960-1279) or later.
