Description.
Ceramic modelled and decorated with cobalt-blue and white underglaze glaze. It is octagonal in shape, with a curved profile, slightly wider in the centre and narrowing at the top to form a flat seat. It is decorated with dotted reliefs and beautiful ruyi border designs that hold small lotuses in bloom, framing the central scene that shows a network of thin branches of flowering peonies, accompanied by delicate leaves that surround two medallions linked with openwork detailing. Qing dynasty, Qinalong period (1736-1795) or later.
