Description.
Pigments on silk. Much of the painting is occupied by a figure of Buddha seated on a lotus base on an elaborate pedestal with niche and ceiling. In the background he is surrounded by clouds. The colours are vivid, although it shows ageing. The canvas is on cellulose.
