Chinese painting "Peonies and Rocks" 20th century

Ink and pigments on canvas, with brocade frame. It depicts a traditional natural landscape with a garden rock from which flowers of various colours emerge. At the upper right is a poem in ink. It is signed and sealed. Mei Lanfang (1894 - 1961) was a well-known actor and opera performer. In good condition, folds with wear.
