Description.
Ink, watercolour and pigments on silk. A later copy of the work of the same title by an anonymous artist in the National Palace Museum, Taipei. It depicts a young boy, dressed in the classical garb of the nobility during the Yuan dynasty, riding on the back of a large white ram. He is set against a beautiful landscape with large pine trees and steep rocks, surrounded by a small flock of rams. Signed on the left side. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
