Cloisonné bronze censer, Ming style

A bronze censer with a flat, rounded body, standing on three short conical feet and surmounted by two curved handles arranged parallel to each other in the mouth. The exterior is decorated with a rich cloisonné enamel, with a deep blue background, on which is arranged a network of filigree and curved, twisting flowering branches, accompanied by large leaves, chrysanthemums and multi-coloured lotuses in bloom.
