Description.
Qianlong four characters mark 乾隆年制 on base.
The base is thin and oval. The body is globular in shape and the rim is rounded inwards. The lid is openwork and depicts vegetal elements. On top have a gold-plated bronze handle with engraved decoration. This type of brazier was used to warm the hands.
The main motifs are multi-colored lotus flowers and leaf scrolls on a turquoise background. Bats and symbols also appear. The main body is framed by a ruyi band.
