Description.
A gilt-bronze vessel covered with a beautiful cloisonné enamel. It has a rounded body, flanked by two handles in relief in the shape of beasts, from which a ring hangs, and crowned by a concave lid. It has a deep black background, on which are scrolling coloured clouds and small bats with outstretched wings, surrounding the eight Buddhist treasures.
